Besnica Jošt

At the north-east slope of Jošt in the Besnica Valley, a new source of water was discovered during the forest maintenance, and then a water reservoir was built. During the work, a layer of red clay, accompanied probably by flysch and slate layers, was exposed.

Regarding the flysch, there is a successive change of layers of various sedimentary rocks, such as: marl, claystone, mudstone, limestone.
