Vrhnika
According to the legend, the town was supposed to have been founded by the Argonauts, who sailed across the Sava and the Ljubljanica rivers from the Black Sea under Jason’s leadership. When they reached the source of the Ljubljanica river in this area, they had to dismantle the ship and transfer it overland to the coast of the Adriatic Sea. Their ship is depicted in the municipality coat of arms.
