Kuštanovci
The village is surrounded by forests that are extremely abundant with mushrooms and chestnuts, so they attract numerous mushroom gatherers from other parts of Slovenia every year. The slopes are mostly covered with fields, whereas there are meadows along the valleys and many vineyards on the slopes. The homesteads are surrounded by orchards.
The village experienced its real development after the independence of Slovenia when it got its first asphalt roads and today, I can say that the asphalt roads are connected to each house. On the hamlet of Vrej, there is a firehouse and a chapel with a bell tower from the beginning of the 20th century and a mortuary hall with a cemetery. Where the present-day chapel is located, all its predecessors also stood but they were mainly made of wood. In the bell tower, there are two bells from 1923.
